Introducing New Field Guides for Wildflower Enthusiasts

Have you ever wanted to view wildflowers but didn't know where they were?

Did you ever want to see specific wildflowers but didn't know when they were blooming?

Three field guides can show you the locations and dates when wildflowers bloom at public locations in the Berkshires and in Western New England and Eastern New York.  Phyllis Pryzby hiked specific trails in these areas twice a month during the growing season of April through October to document and photograph wildflowers in bloom.  This information is presented in three newly published books

Volume 1                                Volume 2

Volume 1covers flowers blooming at Field Farm in Williamstown, Springside Park in Pittsfield, Tyringham Cobble in Tyringham, Fountain Pond in Great Barrington, and Bartholomew's Cobble in Sheffield.

Volume 2 covers flowers blooming at Canoe Meadows in Pittsfield, along the trails across from Shaker Village in Hancock, the wildflower garden at Arrowhead in Pittsfield, Pleasant Valley in Lenox, and Benedict Pond in Beartown State Forest in Monterey.

Note:  Volume 1 and Volume 2 are independent guides.  Volume 2 can be used without Volume 1.  The difference between the two books is in the locations of the wildflowers.
